Survival Guide (Rules and Regulations)

Welcome to the Radio Shopping Show! If you are a new member, congratulations on your participation in the show. If you are a frequent shopper, thank you for your patronage and continued support.

 

To better serve you, we have developed the following guidelines. The Radio Shopping Show must be a WIN - WIN situation between the retailer, the radio station and YOU the listener.

 

Please read and follow these simple rules: 

 

READ AND FOLLOW CERTIFICATE INSTRUCTIONS

When purchasing certificates, please read each one carefully and follow all directions.

 

Please Note: You may purchase one certificate per business per month. In order to maximize exposure for our participating businesses, we reserve the right to limit your purchase of a specific gift certificate/business if we feel that you are ordering that item too frequently or to limit specific items on a per-household basis.

PRESENT YOUR BIG RADIO SHOPPING SHOW CLUB CARD WHEN PICKING UP CERTIFICATES

Please be prepared to show your Radio Shopping Show Club Card when picking up your certificates at the AM 1280 WBIG Studios or at our Road Shows.This assures us you are getting the correct order!

 

You may pick up orders for friends or family members only if you can present that person's Club Card. 

 

MAIL ORDER

To qualify for mail order service, you must spend a minimum of $15.00 per call. A $1.00 handling fee will be added to your total. Payment must be received within one week of the date of your call. Upon receipt of payment, your certificate(s) will be mailed. In order for your order to be processed you must send a self-addressed stamped envelope to the following address:

If you want to charge your purchase to your Visa or MasterCard, you must first register your credit card at WBIG Studios in person. Your certificate(s) will be processed and mailed to your home the next business day.

 

AM 1280 WBIG is not liable/responsible for delayed, lost, or stolen orders via the mail. 

 

TIPPING, TAXES, CHANGE

When using a certificate at a restaurant or business where tipping is appropriate, please make sure that you leave a tip! The standard is 15% of the total bill. You must pay all applicable sales tax. Pease Note: No change will be given if you fail to use the entire amount of the certificate. No exceptions. 

 

EXPIRATION DATES

All certificates must be redeemed before the expiration date. No refunds or exchanges will be given on any expired certificates and we are not able to extend any expiration date. No refunds/exchanges will be given on any certificates you have received for free. No exceptions. 

 

LOST, STOLEN, MUTILATED & EXPIRED CERTIFICATES

Lost, stolen, mutilated, and expired certificates are treated just like cash. Once you take possession of a certificate you are responsible for its safety and well-being. Certificates cannot be replaced under any circumstances. Keep them in a safe place until you are ready to use them. (We recommend keeping them separate from pets, small children, and washing machines.) 

 

RESTRICTIONS

All certificates are subject to certain restrictions or conditions, such as: One certificate per table, Not valid on Sale Items, Good Sunday through Thursday, etc. These restrictions must be observed. We encourage you to try different businesses and not to use a certificate every time you visit a given business. Before purchasing gift certificates please review them or ask a Shopping Show host or associate to explain any restrictions. When possible, please try to spend above and beyond the value of the gift certificate. 

 

EXCHANGE POLICY

If an unexpired certificate does not work, we will exchange it for another certicate in the amount for which you paid for it. For example, In the case of a $20 certificate, for which you paid $8, you would be credited $8 towards the purchase of another certificate(s). SPREAD THE WORD

When possible, take the time to write a letter to the Owner/Manager letting them know your experience and how much you appreciate their being on The BIG Radio Shopping Show. If you are a new customer to that business inform them that you heard about their business through The BIG Radio Shopping Show.

 

Also, be sure to tell your friends and family members about all of the fantasic deals from great area businesses (and beyond) available through The BIG Radio Shopping Show.
